Having trouble getting the two chest halves fitted and lined up, specifically the sides. Looks ok from the front and back, but the sides are a mess.... Very frustrating...I assume the seam in the chest should be right under the armpit?

bummer that I don't know much about clone armor...
but..
what I would do if I were you is to click into the Member Portal...then get into the roster for the current approved Clones....
click into some of the more recently approved clones and see if their additional photos are still there....
the photos that show not only the front but the back and sides of the costume...it might give you some further insight. _________________

Thanks! I think I fixed it...or at least on my way to fixing it. Funny that I am having the most trouble with the two pieces that are NOT "seamlessly" put together - actually would be easier if they were seamless, in that I could make the cut anywhere and then sludge it over. But here, the cut needs to be reasonably under the arm, not too far forward or back, in order for the gap to be in the right place.
Then again, if it were seamless, you would have to be a contortionist to get the piece on. |

Ok, I think I have the chest worked out. Too cold to paint it (damn, painting and weathering is my favorite part!), so working on the legs...

I am one of those folks who pays no attention to warning messages and have been known to do a LOT of spray painting indoors in the winter....

I used to as well, back when I put together models and RC planes, but with kids and elderly living in the "Kier day care and senior living center" I can only do the smaller parts. The filler primer I use is really really bad as well...the regular spray paint for the following coats is not as bad...but the primer is just nasty |

I don't think I will win the coveted "spoons of the year" award, but they stay in place and seem to do the trick.
