Hello Everyone,
I have only gone on two troops, and I am starting to wonder if it would be fun to carry a blaster. Do any of you have any opinions one way or the other?
I like not carrying a gun especially when I'm taking pictures with kids.
However, I also think it would be cool to have a gun to pose with in photos.
If you have a blaster did you buy it or make it? Do you like trooping better with or without it?
Thanks for the help,

I enjoy having a blaster to pose with. I have two- the Star Tours E-11 blaster rifle, which I spray painted black, and the actual ANH Leia blaster. Both are fun, the E-11 makes noise (not that I don't add my own sound effects with the Defender). I've seen some neat 3D printed options on the Defender on Etsy, too, which is a much more budget friendly option.
Of course, I just really like having something to do with my hands, but the blasters lend themselves to being able to do some of Leia's iconic poses, which I think is fun for everyone. _________________

I agree. When I got my Defender it was so much easier to pose and have fun in photos, so I definitely recommend getting one. (and I need to fix mine since I dropped it a part of the front broke off). |

I like having the blaster to pose with and have something to do with my hands. Although, I've also found it better to not have to hang on to it. I guess it depends on the event. |

I also like having my blaster at events...but, like Beth said, it sometimes depends on the event. _________________ http://padme-skywalker77.blogspot.com/ |

I used to have a blaster, but it broke when my mom dropped it. I've found that I don't know what to do with my hands when I don't have one! The only downside to the blaster is that sometimes it would get heavy after holding it for a while (which says a lot because I only had the DDC Defender!), and other times my hands would sweat.
I'd suggest getting one. It also makes little boys who may not want to meet Leia a bit more eager to come say hello to you if you let them hold it--just make sure that they're careful! _________________
