School Fete

Hey All we have been asked to come to a school fete, for a boy named Daniel and the charity his Mother has set up for him. Daniel has cerebral palsy and is 10 years old. However this year he will need MAJOR surgery to get both hips replaced, he also needs to get the tendons behind his knees stretched. Daniel's recovery time is 12+months. His Mother Monica hopes to raise money for a hydraulic lift for her car which will cost $20,000. I have spoken to her on the phone, she says Daniel is getting too heavy for her to lift in and out of the car as it is. She does not expect is to raise this much money!!! She would like people to donate a gold coin if people choose to get a photo with us. This an open event to all starwars costuming groups.


When:22 March 2014
Where: thomas acres public school campbelltown
Time: 11am-3pm (She would like to get all costuming groups in at 10am just in case we get lost, or need to be picked up from the train station.)

I believe that the organisers have joined with the Rotary Club in support of this event. As such, I suspect that this may be going ahead. Kelly, care to confirm?
