I would say you should not try to get a specific color for the helmet.
What you should more do is to find your fabric and then find the best matching colors to avoid difference between helmet et fabric color Wink

Cheers

That's a good suggestion. Also are there any other Senate Guards in the near vicinity (that you'd be trooping with). Coordinating is good there too.

If just you get fabric that is as good a match as you can and go from there.

I was one of the first if not the first Ep1 senate guard in RL, and none were in Europe too at that time (that is for sure... at least they were not RL), some made one after but no coordination. For now unfortunately my helmet as cracks as the various resin coats moved (i did it myself in fiber) and I have to work it again before to be able to wear it again. This mean repaint it; I will let you know my paint color Wink

Also for coordination... if you base on the facts you match helmet color to fabric... you should know it can be really hard to find the good color velvet. Mine is normally used to do sofa, which is not so great because heavy and take easily fold marks, but at least it's the color I judge right Smile (other I could find in France where either too dark; too light or too grey... not much choice :s I search a lot of time for it)

But in US there are definitely more senate guards, so you should see with them Wink

Good luck
