I am looking for a good saber for kids.
I am considering one of the ultrasabers initiates.

Things that I want -
Luxeon lighting (or similar)
no sound needed
durable (for kids to play with)
prefer a 24 inch blade length.
variety of colors available.
my budget is about $100 or under
timely (needed by Christmas)

Is there any other vendor that I should consider?

Thanks

NOPE...

US Initiates are practically the most durable kid's saber out there.

Just make sure they don't use them to whack upon daddy's car...

That's kinda what I figured.
I have an ultrasaber for myself that I like pretty well. Just wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions for kids.

The initiate looks like a decent saber.

Yeah, the Initiate is a good saber. My wife has a V1 in black and I have a V2LE in silver with gold trim. We have 32" blades on ours, but they sell them with 24" blades (roughly the same size as the Hasbro ForceFX sabers), and you can always cut a longer blade down to whatever size you want.

Yuu can either go with the US Initiate sabers, or make PVC sabers. There are a couple of really good tutorials up on The Custom Saber Shop.

I think you mean the Hasbro "UltimateFX" sabers for kids. Wink hehe

Hasbro also makes the real "ForceFX" sabers too --
the ones with authentic Replica hilts, and 36 inch blades --
the same ones that Master Replicas developed from 2002-2007.

these "Force-FX" replica sabers are fine for replica costumes .. but the "UltimateFX" toy sabers are not. LOL
