I'm not for or against this costume, but with this suit approved - we will be seeing a lot of requests for TK Han and TK Luke to be approved as well.

Well....this is why this costume standard is VERY important in establishing what is and what is not allowed with respect to armored costumes. This is why I say...bucket on for OWK (or Luke or Han) is not a Rebel Legion costume. I don't care if the costumer has the bucket and wants to wear it....it just shouldn't be a part of the costume standard. Whether they wear the costume (with bucket on) trooping RL events will be up to the BCO. We, at the international level of the RL, can't possibly police these situations...which is why deciding these things can be touchy, at best.

Also consider...OWK has facial features (hair and hairstyle), and the lightsaber, that sets him apart from others. Anyone in a "stormtrooper Han" and who doesn't look like Harrison ford is just a 501st Stormtrooper with a bucket off. I'm not sure that'll fly. But...for OWK...it is a little different, in my opinion.

But I agree...another can-o-worms is likely to be opened, with "empassioned" debate.

Roger I agree. I agree with everything that you stated, I just see another "can" being opened.

It is true that Han and Luke in tk gear are Rebel but theres no indicator that tells them apart form any other stormtrooper but for Obi-wan in Mando Disguise he has his lightsaber that make it stand out that it is in fact him and not some random mando with a helmet off

just my 2 cents Smile

Oh...and, this shoudl be moved to the Jedi forums, specifically under the OWK subforums, since this will be one of OWK's costumes.
