I can't find any good patterns to use for Leia's Hoth Jumpsuit. If somebody knows of something that I can use, please share! Thank you so much. |

I used Kwik Sew #2588. I believe it is out of print, however I saw a couple on ebay. _________________

I also used the Kwik Sew pattern, but I will keep my eyes our for an acceptable substitute. _________________ http://padme-skywalker77.blogspot.com/ |

Thank you both! I did a search on ebay for that particular pattern, found it at a great price. Ordering it ASAP. Thank you again |

I had no problem with the Kwik Sew pattern. As I posted earlier, I used the Green Pepper one for my Reserve TI Pilot flightsuit. I had to make adjustments in the sleeves - too much room there. _________________

I'm not sure about the TI (TIE?) jumpsuit, but most of those at least don't look as close fitting as the Leia jumpsuit. I'm not entirely comfortable trying to adjust the sleeves and sleeve holes, as those tend to be the bane of my existence. _________________

No, the TI Pilot (TIE) flightsuits are not as form fitting as the Hoth Jumpsuit, but using the GP pattern still required some adjustments. Too much sleeve. Ick. _________________

This is a great tutorial, as is the jumpsuit one. I followed both of them with nice results. _________________

Thanks a bunch for the input - it's nice to know someone else used the tutorial with success!
I made the mistake of asking my husband if he wanted anything from Green Pepper, since I'm ordering the vest and jumpsuit. So now I've got like 7 patterns coming in.
And he doesn't even sew.
Maybe I can teach him. _________________
