Those feet look great Chef. I may consider something similar as I don't need all of the 7" lift to achieve the 7' requirement. Are they comfortable?
I am having the same issue with the jaw opening as you. Mine is also acceptable, but not as far as Meyhew in the movies.

Yep they are comfortable, but I haven't trooped in them yet.

It's a bit like wearing high heels I suppose. Not that I wear ladies shoes!

Just guessing

I was having trouble with my feet wanting to roll outward so I added a small wedge of the pink insulation to the outside of my feet (on the bottoms). These wedges tend to tip the feet inward ever so slightly and seem to really counteract the desire for my feet to roll outward. I will also wear a knee brace on my weak knee and might employ some ankle protection because I am still concerned about ankle roll out. Let us know how the high top boots work out because I might redo my feet at some point as well.

The Second mask build

So I have my master for the underskull, this is made from Herculite No 2.

It has been painted with automotive paint to seal it. I have then waxed it at least ten times. I then made a small clay wall around the rim and added some clay wedge shapes so i can separate the two haves easier.

I added a clay barrier wall to stop any resin escaping.

Just a little update, Ive finished the second mask. Its got a new pallette inside the mouth and new tongue. The underskull was changed to improve the look. New teeth were sculpted and a better mech for the mouth for more movement.

Here are some pictures ..

Also on the BBC for a moment from an event in london
