Hello Everyone, I'm Agnes from Hungary. Just about to start my first Star Wars costume
This is very exciting for me and can't wait to have it done. I'm recording the process with photos.

As I have found only a few references any good ideas are welcome
Thank you!

During the weekend I managed to actually start working on the dress. I cut an old-fashioned dress into pieces and used it as a pattern. At first it seemed to be a good idea but then I realised that fabric changes its shape For my next costume I am definitely going to use a proper paper pattern
Anyway I've got the main part of the dress sewn together and also cut the laces.

I had to admit that using a dress as pattern wasn't a good idea afterall. So I decided to buy a proper pattern which is Simplicity 5189. I will use my old, messed up dress for the outer skirt of the costume and I will redo the dress itself according to this sewing pattern. Luckily I have enough fabric left
I have also found a pair of sandals, any help would be appreciated to decide whether they are good enough for my costume.
Many thanks!

I have found a much better fabric for the sleeve of the dress. There is a reference photo below and a photo of my fabric. It has a great texture unlike the other white fabric that I had in mind. This new fabric is not optical white but it has a nice shade of white. I also noticed there are two stichings running down the sleeve and they are tied with the dark lace. So I have to consider this when making the sleeves although it is not written in the costuming standards. _________________ Check out my photos

I would encourage you to add the pintucks in the sleeves. It's very easy to do and looks much better. |

I'm also in the process of working on this costume. Everything is finished, but I need to figure out the skirt. My skirt is multi-paneled, but I need some tips on how to cut it, and make it look accurate. I found this picture on the padawan's guide
Are there any pictures that show the back and sides of the skirt?
Thanks! |

Yeah, I think anyone who makes this costume feels a little crazy before its all said and done.
Worth the work though. _________________ Stay on Target |

Finally I have completed the costume... It took quite a while as I have a baby and it is hard to find time for anything really. I have not documented the steps of the costume making but I will attach some photos of the details in the following days. Now, I am very excited about my submission, as this is my first Rebel Legion costume. _________________ Check out my photos
