... would it be possible to put the rankbar in green light modus.

I wait to send in to approvement until i have the correct rankbar, so i can concentrate on the next SW costume this summer.

And i want to wear it on troops :p

As soon as the council OKs them, I am ready to make them. Could be done in time for CE2 or SDCC depending on when the OK comes down.

Oh, and I might be talked in to making a 3/4 or 7/8 scale version for the more petite pilots out there.

Hint, Hint... Wink

What would be the ruling on bloodstripes with this uniform? Either gold or red? Some people's characters are Corellian and may have earned them.

Secondly, with regards to the rank badges, some are shown as having what looks like "ribbon rack" qualities. What would be the ruling on this?

Also, what about other decorations, such as wings? Possibly worn above the badge.

... this one is the latest i made, as test for the red (that i have re-made).
This one is made by the sizes of this design (of Damien):

I used the Rebel Legion Benelux pin, it is the correct size of the rebel crest that Damien made.

I don't want to rip off in any way Damien, when his is approved by the council i go by his design. It was just for testing.

Volund problem is it don 't appears in the design of the comics or action figure ...
i think if this costume get cannon status (i hope novery soon,i want to wear it at FACTS 2013). for approvement wings and gadgets to left them out.

If you want to wear extras, i think on normal conventions/troops (depends on demand of organisation, and approvement of your base CO).

... a question, my costume is for a few months ready to wear.

In a few weeks it's FACTS Convention, i wonder it's okay i wear it, or do i need to wait more time.

Only problem is i don't have the correct rankbar, it's te one i made but on the size of the prototype. And because i didn't find the correct red sized rebel pin, i have put our club base pin in place, it have the same size of the prototype.

Friendly regards
Stijn

I'm actually considering making one of these for Celebration VII.
Are we anywhere near getting some kind of approval?

Last year (few months ago) i have wear my dress uniform ... sadly i could not safe the pictures anymore of my sd card (that had technical difficulty).

But these are the pictures i got from friends:

... with a member of the saber smith of our base

... a group picture with members of R2 Builders Benelux, Rebel Legion Benelux, Fan Wars Garrison, Dutch Garrison, Belgian Garrison, French Garrison, Spanish Garrison, French Rebel Base, 59éme Legion, Jedi Temple France, Force Relics, Plecter Labs, ...

... these are my straight edge brothers of the H8000 Crew (the veterans as we said).

... i was busy to undress when they came to get me for a goodbye picture, that's why i don't wear a belt anymore

... this is/was my version of the rankbar, it's made from the sizes of the prototype rankbar that is show in the topic. I made it to see of the red was indeed the correct size as spoken/written in the above text.

i put this first in the wrong thread ...

... i have this costume hanging in my cupboard for almost a year, wondering how many months it will take that costume judge or whatever title that girl/guy has will it take if it will get official

or i can throw it in the trash can, because, i don't want something in my cupboard that collect dust, and not can be used ...

what more do i need to do, to get this official, that i can order that rankbar

Awesome...
this is still on my "to do" list..

I have so many Pilot costumes (X-Wing, Snowspeeder, Y-Wing and Naboo) that it makes sense to also have an "off duty" costume...

Laughing

I was considering sculpting a rankbar and the molding it and casting it...but I already have several other things I am working on and would prefer to just buy one of them....
I really don't want to start the rest of the costume until I have a rankbar in hand..
