Updated ... Monday 24 July 2017.
Because, of issues with Photobucket ... i found another picture host/share thing ImgBB (cross fingers this one stays free for the upcoming years).
I made some kind of resume of it, not longer a extended version, like first.

Stijn - if you can, hold off on this costume for a couple more weeks, we're about to produce a Costume Standard for it. One thing I can tell you is that there's only one pic of the striped pants so I'd leave that off for now.
Also, I'm moving this to the EU Pilots subforum. _________________ Jon Paulson • Cmdr. Tag "HazardThree" Greenly

Love your progress, the descriptions listed in the comics are many and varied. One lists it as a turtle neck unitard, and as you have posted there are the pants with the stripes on them. Nice catch on the epaulette I never saw it before.
Originally I went with suit pants and dress boots but have swapped to a black Han Solo type pant with a stirrup so they sit better. Might have to get some stripe son them if they adopt them for the standard
For the undershirt I used a sleeveless under armour top with the higher neck.
Here are my submission pics if you would like to see how some of it sits.
And those that have gone before us _________________

X-wing Starfighters of Adumar lists it as "a black sleeveless turtleneck body stocking..."
Looking forward to seeing how this costume comes together. This one is on my to do list!
Curious, what kind of fabric are you using for the white and red fabrics? _________________ Jedi - Great Lakes Base

the white is somekind of jeans ...
same as the red to
the red stripe is +/- 7 cm
and the grey obi +/- 9 cm (i have to wait to have the sewwing machine back, i go to a local sewwing café ...
black pants are a smoking black pant ...
for me is easy to leave the yellow stripe of the pants; because it's a hell to find boots / shoes in my size, i can saddle not order these online, because i need for medical reason to test them first, and as also i had some bad luck with order boots ... i have in the past order 4 pairs of boots and each time they send me the wrong sizes or they don't look like on the pictures. I found a Lard Store in the Netherlands who have large feet sizes, and i can test them.
during the lunch (at subways) i have redesign a rankbar ... test another style of rankbar that fits more with this version. |

i have all the X Wing Comics, indeed many versions, even the action figure is different, and on wookieepedia there are few different versions to.
ondersuit, i have a longsleeve collar t-shirt (black) ... even with the undershirt there a few different versions.
And in the Crimson Guard Comics, this costumes turns back up, but this time with a silver collar rankbar, and a belt insted of a obi + a helmet (mix of white baseball helmet and scout trooper). |

I'll be opening up another thread to discuss a new Alliance Dress Uniform Standard. There are several inconsistencies that we'll need to address in order to get a complete standard:
- Sash length (down the back or not, to the belt or further, etc.)
- Pants vs. Body Stockings
- Stripe on Pants
- Epaulets vs. none
- Boots vs. Shoes
If you have images from the Crimson Guard comics (I don't have them) please send them to rlsc@rebellegion.com.

B. Rankbar ...
… made this rankbar myself, based on intel i found on these forums. But in the future I will (let) make an upgrade 3D version of it.
Also i will have to find another solution, the magnet i use is not strong enough, if someone passing and stocks, or i stocks on something it falls off.
So i need a stronger magnet or glue a pin on it.
The magnet is use, is the same like on the club plaques.
… i made (cut) this with PVC foamboard.
This foamboard, comes from old construction yards, and are used for yard boards. Tap out some dots. And removed the prints by sanding.
Rebel Crest 3D print from Force Relics (Belgium) / Shapeways* (Netherlands/U.S.A.).
And painted everything with Revell Aqua Color paint (Red, Gold & Blue), Euroshop (Roeselare, Belgium). I glue everything on, with PVC Glue, (Soudal), Brico (Roeselare, Belgium).
On the backside I glue an stripe of metal, and with a magnet I keep it in place on the sash.
I know the standards says red dots, but I didn’t follow that rule, as my character has a Lieutenant Colonel / Commander as rank, then the dots must be blue <<< this i found out after a lot of researches.

Soft Parts ...
… I don’t sew, i leave this task to someone with the skills and tools for it. But, i do all the research, I prepare, I collect stuff (fabric, buttons, …), collect documentation.
The fabrics I bought at Soldeur (Kortrijk, Belgium).
