|

|
Hi - I am trying to find a site that does the really long braid for Princess Leia ceremonial gown. I have everything else & can even do the top part of the braid bun...but I cannot seem to find a really long synthetic one. My 3 that I use for Slave Leia & then 2 for ANH Leia were $1.99 at a local beauty store.
Help from someone who knows where to go!! =)
Thank-you
Macy

I use the same one for slave and ceremonial. I attach the extension under the braided bun on top. I made a frame out of sculptural mesh that I sew the braids to for the top. I can post pics if you are interested. |

I don't have that costume but the braid I use for my Leia's metal bikini is from three muses clothing. They have a lot of extensions. _________________ Stay on Target |

I get mine from Doctored Locks http://www.doctoredlocks.com/ Since my hair is naturally curly I get the Kanekalon Jumbo Braid, because it has a similar texture to my hair. If you want a silky braid, you can get the Kanekalon Silky Straight Braid. They come folded in half and then braided, so if you want a really long braid, you can un-braid it, unfold it, and then re-braid it. _________________ ~Mieal |

I used silky loose straight extensions (no weft) and I used those to make both the braided bun and the hanging extension. They're ~36" in length and came from a beauty supply store |

That hair is long enough.
I used three packs of kanekalon hair of my ceremonial Leia; two for the braid down the back and one for the smaller braid around the top.
Here's mine:
My own hair forms the center with the large braid wrapped around once and then the smaller wrapped around it all. _________________

You might want to take some of the hair out of the bun braids, they seem a bit too chunky. Otherwise, great job! _________________ ~Mieal |

you can also talk to our resident hair dresser and see what he says about it (we have a hair dresser in our base, he's really great!) ^_^ _________________
