Not sure if you have yet or not, but I would recommend adding adding sterrups to the pants to hold them into the boots. Have you added the ridding seam as well?

Looking read good so far!

Gotta tell you, these billowed pockets were a PITA to get even remotely clean/straight. Ugh. Did my best!

Can't really see very well in the picture, but do you plan on adding a waist band?

I just finished the vest today to update this thread. I have to say, it was a lot of work! Oy! I don't ever want to make something like this again, haha.
There's also an interior pocket with some snaps, I figure he can put his credit cards in there to make up for his pants not having any pockets. Smile

Thanks Robert! I think it turned out pretty well considering how complex it is with all the billowed pockets and such *_*

This looks really great Aimee!! I normally don't have great luck painting resin, but your pieces look exceptional. I love the woodgraining on the handle of the blaster, and the texturing on the droid caller. Very nice work. The costume is coming out great as well. Incredible job on the vest, it looks dead-on.

Can't wait to see how your holster rig comes out! Cool

Keep your friends close, and your blaster closer.

Brian

haha thanks! I previously painted my own cast pieces so I guess it just takes a little practice. But I'm not as good as some of the replica prop guys who do it all the time. I was pretty impressed with the quality of the doopydoo's resin blaster. No air bubbles! (which is how it should be, unlike some other people selling cast kits... grumble grumble...)

Hey folks, just updating that I did another blog post detailing the han solo pants I did and also included the bloodstripe embroidery file if it will help anyone! Goodluck!
