After trooping as a TK, my daughter told me she wanted to join me at an event. She is 10.  She decided on an Ewok. I found an awesome build on the RPF forums from another TK. Here is the beginning of my build.

The beginning base mask

The finished mask after foam, oven bake clay and fur

Eyes were very tough. I found some baby bottles at the dollar store and cut them to size. Tinting is the hardest part. 2 ideas: flexible auto glass tint 5% and fabric dye. The auto tint is difficult to get on without bubbling. The fabric dye is done by boiling it and submerging the plastic for up to an hour. I have not tried this yet and will update on success (the lens in this mask are from a used halloween mask (hard to find)

Hands started like this

Ended like this

Old shoes with toes attached

Completed feet

My daughter wearing mask and hands

A friend is sewing the rest of the body suit. Final pictures to follow.

That looks great! I'd just take some black paint and wipe it on the nails so they aren't so bright yellow. Wink
