Hello my fellow jedi.

I'm trying to track down some food caps and pouches for a friend, as it's been a very long time since I got mine and CB no longer seems to sell or make them.

So my questions are this....

Does anyone or has anyone know or delt with this seller?

Food Caps: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jedi-Food-Energy-Capsules-set-of-8-star-wars-accessories-props-/140791045844?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20c7ccded4

Pouches: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jedi-Pouches-Set-of-3-only-Star-Wars-props-accessories-pouch-/140766545352?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20c65705c8

And does anyone have any other source where these items can be obtained, that can ship to Australia?

No idea on the seller, but for my food caps, I bought Staedtler liquid point pens off of eBay, then bought appropriate sizes half-sphere buttons from my local fabric store.

I got my belt pouches and caps from that seller they are the same as mine. They caps I love and will never replace till I have to. I put pixey stick powder in them so they are more real.... Suger is food and enrgey right? The pouches are ok they open and close but feel cheep. I will get pouches from Roger here on the forum he sells sets of them and they look great! The seller is a bulk seller so they can be hit or miss I had to no problomes with them but other on eBay have.

I have the food capsules that you have listed. They are great. And next to impossible to tell they are not perfectly screen accurate when they are your belt.

I got them from their site directly for a dollar less than they have them listd there for.

Another plus is they are pre-painted and the bottoms screw off... Not that you could fit anything in there besides a rolled up dollar bill but its still a nifty function.

I would definitely recommend them for the price.

As far as the seller goes they are also great, prompt communication (understand that they are in Singapore so answers usually come in the evening night or morning) and their items arrive pretty quickly with free shipping including a tracking number.

Here they are on my belt

I've said it before, and I'll say it again,
if you =can=, get/make some of the good stuff.

You can make your own -screen accurate- foodcaps.
Parts are still available.

Pouches... There are very few cheap alternatives,
but I've seen those, held those , watched those break.
At least put a proper paintjob on there....

Most of the Jedi gear you -can- make yourself.
And if you think it's too expensive, buy in 'bulk', and sell
the excess -with- profit.

Just bought the belt from that seller a few days ago, and actually, it is indeed CostumeBase. It says so in their confirmation email. So, incidentally, you re-found CB! Laughing

I had those food caps, they are great!

Then I bought some of the screen accurate pen cap ones from a former RL member, and they didn't hold up well. If you go that route, be sure to use epoxy and not super glue, and use paint made for plastic. Even then you will have to repaint them after a while. And be sure to glue the metal clips in place.

I wish I still had the ones from ebay, but I gave them away. Crying or Very sad It's good to see they are still available!

Don't do it, Hoppy.

SSA got a stack of food capsules from www.CivilizedGalacticGear.com for $30 plus $2 postage to Sydney, and they are the real thing. Ask Swiv for more details.

How were they to deal with?
Cause I'll add them to my list of retailers.

And I'll still be happy enough to deal with what I have listed, as it seems they are CB. And I've come to trust CB. But to have another retailer to rely on is always good business.

I can't say how they were to deal with, as Swiv did the deal. Looking at the site, 8 food capsules cost $32, it is possible that he got free shipping on them. I shall ask him for more details. However, short form;

We got them. They are good! Wink
