Hi

I have uploaded some photos to flickr of my Juno Eclipse Rebel costume and would really appreciate any comments as to accuracy before I submit for approval.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/59696352@N07/sets/72157631786918192/

Black jacket is tapered with seams at rear and front, with code cylinder pockets. It has no buttons or zippers. Imperial belt. Grey tank top underneath black jacket. Plain fitted black pants with no belt loops. Black leather fitted gloves. Wrist length. Strap at the wrist, with an opening between wrist and where the fingers begin. Long black smooth leather riding boots. Managed eventually to get my naturally blonde hair (which has come out a bit dark in the pics) in a french twist with a couple of stray hairs at the front!!

What do you think? Thanks Tracey

I'm not a costume judge, but having been on the Imperial Officer forums a lot and seen a few builds, yours looks good! The pictures are a bit under-lit so details are hard to make out, but it seems you have the officer tunic front panels next to the code cylinder pockets, the gloves and paint job on your blaster are spectacular, and the overall look is correct. Great job! I don't think you'll have trouble getting it approved, but I'd suggest taking some other pictures where you're lit better and the details can be seen.

Thank you very much. I will try and get the hubby to take some better lit shots to show the detail and then submit for approval I think. Tracey

Having helped approve a number of costumes for Garrison Carida as an academy advisor, I would say your Juno meets or exceeds all the standards for the RL.

If you want this for a dual legion costume, there may be a slight hang-up on your jacket depending on your garrison. For all other officers, the princess seams on the back of the jacket are supposed to go from the waist to the middle of the sleeves, rather than to the top seam.

Good luck on your approval.

As the costume judge who would be reviewing this costume, you've done a great job. However, for your submission pictures, I'd need you to not wear the gun holster or have the gun as they are not options in the Costume Standards:

http://www.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14193

You can wear them to events as long as the event coordinator doesn't have a problem with it.

I'm curious about that too... what pattern did you use for the jacket?
