Hi again,

I'm been thinking about this for a while, but I decided I'd wait until the election cycle was before bringing it up. Anyway, I was wondering if there was any chance we could get another run of the base patch going? I'm not sure when the last run occured, but it was before I joined in 2010. I guess the really important question is, is there anybody else who's interested in getting our base's patch?

I'd take a patch.

My understanding is that Kathy just might do a run this upcoming year.

Keep your ears on.

I would be using Stadry again because they have all our thread color choices and the artwork digitized so this will be more of the same exact patch and not a new variant because I don't have energy to do a variant. I probably won't do this until Dec or January at the earliest. People will just need to keep an eye out in the interest thread forums for merchandise, and I'll make a Yahoo Groups announcement for our base members. Any interests posted here really won't count, so I'll direct people to the proper thread for posting formal interest when the time comes.

Being new here I would like to know about these patches. Ami allowed to purchase one being that I am here and in the process of making my character or do I have to wait til I have a costume and it's approved. If i can buy, how much?

Legion merchandise such as patches are only for full Rebel Legion members who have kept up their minimum activity requirement (1 event participation per year). So yes, you'd need to wait until you have a costume approved and are a full formal member in good standing to have access to any legion merchandise in our Members only Emporium Smile

I do not see myself doing a patch run until later in 2013 since I am too busy during the holidays, and have some travel commitments through mid March.

So, once you get one (or more) what do you do with them? I'd be willing to help you out with anything in that regards Kathy. No need for you to bear the whole load if you're feeling overwhelmed.

Thanks, it is better for me to handle it since I've used the patch company before and I know how to sell legion merchandise through our forum.

People collect patches, put them on jackets, sweatshirts whatever they want. They can not be sold by you to the public. You must keep them for your personal use, or can only re-sell through our forum members only emporium to other full members/collectors if you end up having more than you know what to do with. Some people use them for trade too with other members (like, I'll trade you an Endor patch for a Jedi temple patch...)

Ah, ok cool. I think it would be cool to have a number of them(Endor Base as well as other Bases). I would NEVER think of selling them to outside persons. That defeats the purpose of being a selected member.

The original run of patches was done back in 2005. I ordered 100 patches in the now current Endor Base logo. It was a 3.5 " hotknife patch. The patches were done by Mike Phelps AKA Batfrog who is no longer with us Sad
