From October 27, 2005 to April 30, 2006 the Boston Museum of Science is having a Star wars themed exhibit called Star Wars:Where Science Meets Imagination.

At Boston Super Mega fest in November a bunch of us met one of the people responsible for assembling this exhibit.  She said that the exhibit would not disappoint people.

I have only begun planning for this "locally".  I have only discussed this with The Jedi Assembly and with the NJ/NYC Captain.  I was hoping that this could be an official RL event with the New Engalnd Garrison of the 501st joining us.

The event websit is starwars.mos.org

The museum's website is www.mos.org

The NEG has already been involved in promoting this event since last year. One of its members is on staff at MOS and has been "hooking us up". Believe me, from what I've seen of the prototypes, this will not disapoint.

Stay tuned...

This should be something that's definitely worth a trip to Boston.

Dylan, I think I spoke and ate dinner with that member in Bugaboo Creek.  She said that she took a trip to Skywalker Ranch and was floored to see al the "neat and cool" Star Wars stuff that GL has in storage.  She also said that some of the stuff that saw she recognized from scenes in the movies.

Thats the one. She keeps teasing us about all the stuff she can't talk about.

Currently there is a life size Naboo N-1 starfighter hanging from the ceiling in the exhibit hall. The show opens in October so plan accordingly.

If you live in the NYC area the Fung Wah bus to Boston  http://www.fungwahbus.com/ticket/ is only $15 each way for the 4 hour trip.   I love Boston , except for when there is 2 to 3 feet of snow and I can't leave Boston to get back to NYC  .

Yes. That would be the first day that it's open to the public.
