We really do not want to buy a orange jump suit and sew the pockets on ours self. We would rather pay someone to costume make it or buy one already made in her body size and just shorten the arms and sleeves.

Ok I can not figure out how to post a picture so here it is on my flickr

I had my sister pick out the colors and design, she know what she wants but she does understand that things will have to chance.

That's quite the helmet. Razz

Just my opinion, but she might want to tone down the colors a bit. That's a lot of color on there and-- no offense-- is a little messy and distracting. Not to mention that would be really hard to paint. Especially the end of the mohawk where she has a rainbow "hazard" painting. That would be really hard to do with all of those colors. It might look nicer to tone that down to two colors there, or even one solid color.

And I'm not sure about the rose and seashell designs. Those could be done fairly easily with decals, but I'm not sure that they'd be entirely acceptable for the RL. I'm not positive, but they may look too "real world".

I don't know if you're planning to weather the helmet (and it's not required), but that would help tone down the brightness of the colors.

My sister wanted to put something from every disney princess in her helmet. but I understand I took out the shell and the red line thing. But other than that I think that colors are good together. Have you seen some of the other helmets out there. There are come crazy colors going on there. But thank you for your imput.

Yeah... Disney Princess definitely wouldn't be acceptable in the RL. No real world logos, characters and so on. Razz

Good luck on the helmet.

By the way, for the mohawk cap, you might be able to use decals, which would make it easier because it wouldn't have to be painted there, and you wouldn't have to worry about making clean, straight lines (because it could be done in an image editing program). Just measure how big you'd each decal-- one for each side-- and there you go.

But remember that a helmet is not required for pilots to join.

Hi Jazz!

I don't remember when we talked about this last weekend, but are we going for awesomely close to canon or full Rebel Legion approval? If the former, then of course the boots don't have to be exact-exact. Smile

Are you looking for one pre-painted or just a raw cast? Also, are you looking for one that lights up or no?

The three folks that I know of who make compads are Hoffa (RL member), Targ(501st Member) and Kai (also 501st).

Targ offers his compads with LEDs built in, wired to run off two AA batteries. Just let him know that you're looking for the Rebel variant and not the TIE version, since he mainly does TIE pilot pads.

Hoffa also offers painted and lit compads as well as painted unlit and raw compads.

Kai only offers raw compads as far as I know. I do have a spare I can send your way if you're interested. It's still a raw (unpainted and uncurved) pull.

I guess painting or unpainted is fine, I do know we do not care for LED. From what I have read there are hard plastic and I think a soft kind. Which kind do you have?
