Research is your friend! I may not be the best source of costuming knowledge but I do KNOW that research saves you money and frustration in the long run!

For the over tunic, I've just used a gi pattern, which is still available
McCall’s pattern 2940. Simplicity 5840 might still be able to be found. The tabbards aren't really correct as they flair or curve at the shoulder. Use the pattern but keep them straight across the shoulder.
