So I have to say I have been going to Starfest for 20+ years, every year the program says Bruce Campbell. Though he has come to Denver, I have never seen him at StarFest.

Just sayn.

Hugh,
When it gets down to the date be sure to let me know if you need help with anything. Of course it depends on how involved Kathy and I are with the 501st stuff but we are available to do something, if we can Smile

thanks

And there is not much chance that Stan Lee will attend StarFest as he's already confirmed with Denver Comic Con 2013.
A primary reason that Stan Lee is signed on for DCC is the focus that DCC puts on children's programs and children's literacy, which is parallel to goals of the Stan Lee foundation. http://www.stanleefoundation.org/

With the time off approval from work, I will need to start saving for CE II. With that, I need a POC for this event. Any volunteers?

Since Kurt is the one who works closely with Starfest and handles the point of contact duties just fine on his own, why do we need another POC? He's been handling it just fine himself for years. And with so many dual members who can see the planning thread(s) when they go up, it seems redundant to complicate things anyway.

Kurt handles the 501st table and has never handled the RL table. For at least the past 3 years the Mountain Garrison/ Mountain Base have had conflict on identity and how to share the space. Last year RL only members were not invited to the MG dinner, which is the choice of MG members and command and understandable. I am a duel member but I dont spend much time on the MG forums so I really dont know what goes on in the planning threads.

Since the RMFF table has always been so big and the MB presence had been smaller over the past couple of years there was and agreement that the RMFF share the space they have across from the MG instead of put the MB in the main room with the other fan groups so the Star Wars groups could be together. Yes there are a lot of joint members of all 3 groups but we are still separate groups. I for one would like to see large events like starfest and DCC be a joint event but it would be up to the MG if they want the MB in their space. Not sure how to go about that.

I can say that as far as I know right now Mountain Base are welcome to share the RMFF space at Starfest like we have for the past 3 years but would need to nail that down.

I would be willing to take POC between the RL and RMFF/ Starfest

I've put in my time off requests for Galaxy Fest, StarFest and Denver ComiCon.

Here's to hoping I get the requests, I've got my hotel rooms reserved!

Starfest tickets 50% off on this site http://kdvr.upickem.net/engine/SplashDetails.aspx?LID=1994&contestid=40347&productid=8849366&p=6

Do we need a sign up thread for the table?

Who all is going?

Hi all, sorry if this is a silly question, but I have only been a member for a couple of days. Are there any "official" Rebel Legion activities or commitments or anything for Starfest?

Thanks for any info.
