Event Time: Sat, Oct 6, 2012 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Location of Event:
Barnes and Noble

Kansas City, MO 64153

Way the event is connected to Star Wars: Promoting Star Wars Books for DK Publishing.
Will there be a place for troopers to change? Yes (Break room/offices)
Will there be a secure place for troopers to store their storage tubs while trooping the event? Yes (break room)
Will family/friends be allowed to attend the event? Yes (open to the public)
Are cameras allowed and can we take pictures at the event? Yes
Are weapons allowed on the costumes? Yes
Is there a special place to park at the event? Does parking cost? No
If appropriate, can we have a table with flyers and information about the 501st/70th Explorers? No
Are 501st, Mando Mercs costumed members requested too? Yes
How many costumed members are requested? 10+
Will lodging be provided by the local troopers for garrison members travelling a great distance? Probably not needed, but check with local troops

Additional information or comments:
The Rebel Legion, 501st Legion, and Mandalorian Mercs have been asked via LFL by DK Publishing to attend events across the US. Focusing on the Barnes and Noble locations is what they've asked us to do.

NOTE: This was the only KC event to get the time set on their printed schedule in time, though two Johnson County stores likely will still have events going on that day. We're trying to coordinate the times, but if they end up overlapping we'll need to make sure we distribute folks between the stores evenly. We'll post the info for those stores here once we have it.
Oak Park and Leawood events (Oak Park is overlapping)

We'll have several T-shirts from DK for volunteer, we have at most 10 XL and 7 M for KC area volunteers.

I've got this on my schedule. If the JoCo locations get solidified, my preference would lean towards one or both of them; but if they don't I'm still up for making it to Zona Rosa. I would speak for an XL shirt.

I did see on the 70th boards that the other two KC store events are posted under the Joint Ops, but I don't see this one, so either it's missing or it's under members-only? I don't suppose one of you 501st types would be able check and if it's nowhere at all ask around?

I have 5 and 5 here for STL. I don't have a full 10 folks right now so I may have extras if needed. Guess we'll see after the 6th.
