Hello, everyone.

Two questions

Does anyone do the parts for Cz3/Cz4 as a costume?

Secondly, does anyone manufacture a C3P0 type costume for larger sizes? I am not obese, but I am six feet tall and rather broad shouldered.

I ask because I have interest In building one of these costumes and/or a 4LOM.

Any help would be appreciated.

Alex

The Threepio armor that is out there is all descended from the Disney suits or the screen used armor. While some have made slight modifications to accomodate a larger physique, we are talking smal changes here.

Threepio armor is made for a specific body type (Anthony Daniel's height and build) and it doesn't really fit anyone else. Most of us mere mortals will need surgery to fit into that costume.

A few years back there was someone on ThreepioBuilders scratch building a suit. I also think I've seen pepakura files for Threepio.

There are a few 6' Threepios over on the C3PO builder forums but they are exceptionally thin.
I'm a bit over 5'10" and weigh 141lbs, give or take a pound or two, and the suit is very fitted on me.

Matt is right. There may be some good options if you're a really dedicated builder.
There are a few other fellows close to your height.
I'd bet ff you started to sculpt some larger parts you would generate enough interest to help fund the build. (and make a few people on the tall side really happy)
If you go this route and you need help with proportions etc, let me know.
