To keep the diamond shapes in her leggings, she actually has pieces of wonderflex sewn in there, which you can't really tell until you get your nose right up in them. It's pretty effective.

How about using an interfacing around the holes?

My sis and I have bought something called 'strygejersey' in Danish that is washable and sturdy. Haven't tired using it yet, but it's an option.

It's a good thing I was forward thinking then. Wink I hope you find a solution you think will work. The stuff I showed you is an option.

so! I am a headpiece! My girlfriend will be paying for it as part of my christmas present! Smile Wooohoo Smile

So, I am again looking into parts for this costume. Has anyone got any good place to get beige, ankle high boots (preferably with laces for better fit) in leather/leather like material? I'd like them in beige/beige ish, so I can dye them along with the boot covers to (hopefully) achieve the same colour on both boots and covers Smile

Who are you getting your head piece from? Did you contact my friend?

Victorias costume is made out of moleskin like she has stated. I found some at my local fabric store. It has 3% spandex.... I don't know if anyone would find that helpful, but thought I would share as I have been following this thread.

so, sewing weekend Smile I've made some progress:

Tab:

And finally made the leggings with the help of a good friend:

And! We've been working on the hole in the back. However, I'm not really satisfied. I can't get it to stick close enough to my back, even with an elastic added:

Please ignore the bottom of the thing Wink we've been adjusting the length with needles, and now the extra fabric started to come down Wink
