Hi everyone,

I'm working on putting together a Jedi costume that will eventually become a Kit Fisto one. I just have a few questions.

Does anyone know of a good pattern. I've seen that 4450 was the best, but is out of print. I have seen that Simplicity 5840 is still available. Just wondering if anyone has used this before or knows if it is up to standard.

Also are extra items allowed. I kind of like the hand wrap idea from the Quinlan Vos costume.

Thanks

Eric

Hi Eric,

Your best bet is to check under "costume & props" on this forum. Check the Standards for Kit Fisto etc & then check in the Jedi section. There are always lots of helpful hints in there.

Cheers

Hey brother- welcome to the group! If you want to do a face character you should go for accuracy all the wAy!!! If you want to add bits later for less formal events and fun there's lots of room for that (within the bounds of good star wars taste). Older patterns can often be found on eBay. Lots of pics around of the 'identities' kit fisto costume to help with fabric textures etc. get cracking brother there's always room for another good Jedi in our ranks. You are also lucky to be in Ottawa where there are lots of talented local costumes to help you out when you get further along in your research! Welcome again.

I would agree - there are quite a few Jedi in the Ottawa area. You may want to consult with one of them on patterns and fabrics.
