My buddy and I are in the middle of creating a b-wing chest box pull. The original (based off of my original box) has been made in plaster. The part is being touched up to be recast in tooling plaster. The next step is to run styrene pulls of the part. One pull has already been pulled (a few minor issues). Pilots from Hazard squadron have looked at and approve of the rough pull. Hopefully, the final product will be ready for styrene pulls in the next few months (he is a shop teacher and needs to do curriculum before the end result).

I am finally almost done with my X-Wing boxes. Should be doing the first pulls in the next few weeks. Then I can (finally) begin working on the Y-Wing and B-Wing boxes. My helmet kits are not far behind and we will offer the entire X-Wing less the boots.

I was considering doing the B-wing chestbox, but since others are working on it, I'll work on some items that no one else really offers. I don't want to step on anyone's toes.

Brian, I can´t offer you "hardware" help, but maybe you can find some ideas for creating the needed stuff in my WIP thread:

Feel free to ask if you have special questions!

David, I wouldn't worry about that. Personally (and speaking as the RLSC DCO and a Legion Pilot Costume Judge), having multiple suppliers of decent product not only keeps pricing down, but it insures that that the products continue to be available should one vendor bow out.

I'll put it this way: I've got a couple of other projects to work on now and the B-wing box is getting moved towards the end of my list of things I want to work on, but I may still work on it in the future.
