A new project I wanted to get started on, was Captain Rex's snow aror (as seen in the animated series on the moon of Pantora.

I have no idea where to start! I have reference pictures galore, but I don't know where to find the snowy armor! The fabric parts I can make myself... but the bucket, chest plate and other armor pieces elude me... any help?

I am not sure who makes them and I don't even remember seeing such armor on sale. It's a nice project but will take some time to complete. Best of luck Smile If I find something useful I will make sure to let you know.

Thanks! I heard through a garrison member that he had seen someone do a snowy Rex... so I'm trying to follow that lead... otherwise, I can modify regular snowy armor... but the helmet is what will be hard to find... I think.

Hi!
A guy by the name of Hass Dadro has recently done up a pep of this bucket. And I am looking at giving it a go. I just want a wall hanger this time.
I think I first found him over at the RPF for his animated ARC bucket, but I now follow him on facebook. really good pep files, may need scaling every now and then

Welcome! I'm glad to see the Snowclone getting some love.

Here are some threads, with a lot of links:

http://www.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=48063&highlight=snowclone

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

If you want, I can check with TS280 to see if he still has his snowclone armor and bucket available for sale. I don't recall if they sold when he had them up earlier this year.

I'll see what I can find. I also recommend you check out Blizzard Force, as it has a whole section on the Snow Clone.

I'm starting to feel that same intimidation I felt when I began building Rex XD haha. Oh man this is actually pretty exciting! I knew there werent that many snowy Rex's but it will be so cool to get this done and be one of those few >D

Any links to where you got your armor? I'm still flipping through your build thread :3

I sent TS280 a PM on the 501st side. I don't know how often he checks email or PMs. Unfortunately, I don't have his email address.

About 6-8 months ago, there were two sets of snow clone armor and two helmets avail. I bought a set (from the guy who had the molds) and the other set sold about a month later. The only guy who made the armor had to but his molds and vac table in storage due to moving into a smaller location and not having the room to store his equipment in. As far as I know, he has no intentions of making any runs for a few years (could have just been saying that to get his last set of armor sold)

Hey there Guys N Gals,

I received a message from Bill and figured i'd try to get something posted regarding the SC. I still have the SnowClone and all my other molds in storage along with the Vac Table. I moved my family just over the border into Indiana and the garage went from 2.5 car down to one Crying or Very sad Anyhoo I'm working on Biker Scout molds for my 10 yr old son and have been attempting to upgrade the garage's electrical service; in the mean time, I'm looking to move the table temporarily to a friend's facility in order to get the scout done for Halloween. If it seems like there is interest, then I'll put my efforts into getting the system up and running again before winter strikes.
Sorry for the long winded blabby first post, too much coffee today Shocked

Thanks for the interest, and thanks to Bill for the heads up.
Dan
