Thanks General!

Bit more progress- Finished patterning the fabric,

Heres a pic of it roughly pinned together, i've still got to line the cloak, gather/pleat it properly, hem, hood etc

I wanted to see how it looked put together. (first pic is indoors to see how it looked in different light)

Downright beautiful!

I may have to try this technique for my Plo Koon Hooded cape. The patter for the cape is impossible to find so I'll have to paint it myself

Thanks everyone! Very Happy
I can't wait for to get this finished now!

Patterning the cloak fabric took hours, but it turned out better than i expected. I made the pattern myself on the computer, printed it off and laminated it and then cut it out with a sharp craft knife.

I tried a few techniques but the final one was using a mini sponge roller to apply the fabric paint. I used two stencils. One to paint and a spacer in between so i didn't smudge it and didn't have any gaps.

Excellent work on the pattern and the shape of the cloak it looks great.

The only thing I might suggest is a little bit of material (such as interfacing) or wire to give the front of the hood a smooth shape.

It is a tricky cloak though and yours looks amazing, well done on the details.

Thanks Michael! Very Happy

I've put some thicker AL wire around the edge of the hood to hold the shape better and bend it into shape, here's a pic- not the best as i had to take it myself lol

Thanks to you and Bossi (michaela) for the help and advice on putting it together!
