Today I've started my new tunic set. A con is coming up and quite frankly, I'm sick of wearing the same old tunic, so I'm making one in more of a Ki-Adi Mundi / Sarissa Jeng style tunic style. If it's only approvable as informal, so be it. It's for summer and we don't get many LFL events out here Wink

Here's the body of the undertunic. I chose a very lightweight linen and am not lining it. The skirt will be 1.5" or so shorter than this. I plan to do a standard scrunched-up sleeve style with this, and if I have/can get enough of this fabric I plan to make a matching obi. The sleeveless, hooded outer tunic will be in a more earthy brown color.

Love it! Let me know if you have any questions about the outer tunic/robe. I'm so excited for more Jedi costumes like this.

Love it! It looks nicely fitted and really comfortable. Smile

I hear ya on sick of the same old tunic... I love mine but I'm thinking of making another style as well. Something along the lines of Jedi Master Fay from the Republic comic. I like her long skirt.

Very nice. I know how you feel. I have a generic Jedi tunic and am working on an Anakin costume (and having been growing my hair for 6 months to match...haha). With that said, I think after the Anakin costume I want to do something completely custom and unique that still looks Jedi. One of the things I have been toying with is a sleeveless outfit. Again...it would be informal but I like that idea...especially for the summer time events.

It will probably be a New Republic look. My biggest thing is I want it to look really good and have more details and look top notch. I know nothing about sewing but I am sure once I come up with a final idea...I can look around for someone that can help pull it off.

Again...great start so far. Can't wait to see the final look. I love seeing new costumes but especially those that are unique and not in the standard issue Jedi outfit. Thus my reason for wanting something unique for myself...haha.

Been finished for awhile but finally got pictures Wink Not sure if it's approvable with the style, but oh well. Just made it for hot events anyways.

Tried to make the hood so it had this interesting effect on the shoulders when the hood is down.

These pictures do not do the ends of her sleeves justice they are simply amazing on the detail. And I like how you did your hair for this one.
