Hey all i plan to make a clone wars general kenobi submission for RL using Kevs Season 1-3 clone grunt armor so i can dual purpose it later into a standard republic clone trooper. Ben

Anyone have templates or patterns for the over tunic and robes?
Also i plan on making the cloak/robe mounts magnetic with a gold(brass laser cut) jedi order symbol.

I still need to aquire the saber but i plan on ordering the armor next week.

This is my basis

Has anyone here done this build?

You may want to post this in the Jedi forums as well, since Obi-Wan would fall under that category. But then again, this may be the best place for trooper parts ...

Sadly Gentle Giant used a movie armor body for an animated depiction in that one. Same as they did with Rex. If I were thinking of doing a Clone Wars series Kenobi, I'd go with animated style armor like he actually wears in the series rather than movie style. The animated clone armor is easier to wear/build anyway in my opinion.

(sorry, was talking of Sideshow)

There are at least 3 sources, so this should be approvable. They're all obviously based off of the jousting battle between Kenobi and Durge on Muunilinst. Despite the animated source and poor action figure implementation, there are 3 realistic versions that I would expect to allow clone armor.

[edit]
Just saw the post in your cross-posting in the Jedi forum that someone has been formally approved with this costume:

Here are the requirements:

This would be impossible to do since no one has made the Micro Series animated armor. Kev's and WCA are not the same design.

ohhh look thats me!!!!

yeah took a few attempts at getting that general jedi kenobi approved.

the undersuit was hard to find cause i went for a black undersuit but chocolate brown was needed, so dont use the kenobi bust as a reference.

any issues or Questions send me a PM.
