Greetings! I'm gathering references and materials for my Astraal Vao outfit and I'd like to bounce some ideas off the more knowledgeable members here about getting off the ground.

This is the costume I'm going with. I assume that Astraal is an approved RL character. Going by this picture and a few others, I'm currently dividing the costume into 5 pieces: boots, tabard overcoat, inner suit, gloves and headpiece.

I'm going with the ideas suggested in using Sheltay Retrac's costume design as a base (http://www.eastofthewoods.com/c-sheltay.html). The inner suit would be a slightly different, smoother fabric than the tabard piece, which has that texture to it.

The question I had was about the headpiece and the tabard. Ultimately, I would like to treat these as two separate pieces, and use the fabric seen around her throat as further security for the lekku. I was thinking about having the neck fabric attach in the back somehow, rather than attempting to slide it over my painted face.

Ideas and comments would be appreciated.
