This is looking outstanding, This may be my next project after finishing my SWTOR jedi costume. The knee plate had some great detailing, well done and keep up the good work.

Looking oh so very nice, I know this isn't what I should be saying but finally Rebel Legion has white armor that isn't going to be claimed by the 501st as HAVOC Squad are Republic Troopers not clones that turn bad but Republic all the way.

Actually... Several Republic troopers, including most of Havoc, did defect to the Empire.

But what we see in the trailers are Republic Troopers, Imperial Troopers wear a Grey set of Armor let the 501st have that one and this one is ours.

I guess the renegades do not keep the color pattern of the Republic, so if there are images with the imperial scheme can be used for the brothers of the 501st.

AMAZING WORK! View armor come to life is a pleasure that rarely one can give: thank you very much.
I look forward to purchasing it, nothing better than this to start with the armor.

I just wanted to thank you for posting photos of the process...

Where I know the kinda/sorta of vacuforming..
I have never really had the chance to see the process of the actual mold making..

Where I think the armor is way cool...
I seldom wear my TK because I get so much grief about being short...
so...I pretty much stay clear of additional armor...

case in point..

I am the short Trooper on the left at Free Comic Book day on Saturday..

I must have gotten the old line
"aren't you a little short for a Stormtrooper a dozen times"

Laughing

When they initially defect, they keep the Havoc squad armor and insignia. Very few of them are encountered in Imperial armor until fairly late in their part of the story line (don't wish to ruin this with spoilers for SWTOR players, so I'll leave it at that.) At least, that goes for the face characters. There are several Alliance special forces "generic" types who do defect to the Empire, and they are also depicted at times in the White armor or variations thereof. Later, as the storyline goes on, this also becomes much less common.

Certainly there is enough argument from the viewpoint of EU canon to allow for both sides to use the armor in White, though of course I would agree that this would be a primarily Republic type build.

I look forward to seeing how this comes out. Very interested, especially if the kit is a straightforward build. Looks like the helmet is still under development.

I think this would fall under the "Han and Luke in the Detention Area" rule.

Imperial Stormtrooper Armor is still an Imperial uniform, regardless of who is wearing it; Republic Commando Armor is still a Republic uniform even if a few defectors keep wearing it.

Tactically, a "Really Bad Idea" as it would lead to being killed by your own troops. Laughing

Kevin if you had finished the helmet would you do me a favour and try glasses on if you could put on normal glasses and wear them inside the helmet...because i cant wear contact lenses so i need to wear my glasses. Thanks...

The helmet is a wonderful piece of work. Will you offer him as a single piece just for guys who are only collecting helmets ?

Best regards

Chris

Chris, I wear glasses as well but I do not have any helmet that I can wear my glasses in, and dont think they will work in this one either. I will offer these helmets without armor if wanted!
