Thought it might be cool (if you are really bored) to broadcast work being done on our Blast Door. Tune this weekend and next as we prepare the set for Wizard World's New orleans Comic Con. I'll post some of the changes and improvements later.

Getting the set ready for Shoot the Trooper during Wizard World's New Orleans Comic Con. Added gromets to the new background and built a frame for it.

The frame will be moved further back and I bought a TV sound bar to play Deathstar background sound or music. I'll probably attach it to the top of the flat. The 2 flats I used for the door will get some patterns and vents added to it then will be used as additional walls.
The Back ground is a little too blue and now I have to decide if I want to try and match it and repaint the set.

Lights added to both light panel flats.

I picked up a few of these nifty cup holders at Lowes that light up with variable patterns. I took them apart and plan on using the blinking lights for an access control panel that will be on the doorway flat.

Will do some more work on this next weekend.

The background in the door creats a quite real "deepness"!
