Hi All! Smile

I think I am just about ready for submission, however, I would like some feedback to see if there is anything else I might need to tweak/fix... prior. Smile
Thanks!

Wow, looks amazing to my untrained eye! Very nice job on the weathering. I don't see anything that I would think needs fixing, but I'm not very familiar with the tusken female standards.

Why is the shawl so tight? It is clinging to you to. It should be looser.

This is the picture I usually show to demonstrate how the shawl should look:

Thanks for looking! Smile

It really isn't that tight when on, I think I forgot to "adjust" once I had it on, I'll do better photo's and some "adjusting" later, but here are some test runs I had done previously...Let me know if it is still a problem, I can make another one if I really need to...Thanks again! Smile
Maybe it's too long??? hmmm....

It's the last layer that is just too long in front.

Look at the reference picture I posted and then look at your pictures. Your shawl comes down to your wrists. The ref. picture comes down to the mid foreman and is loose.

revisiting this costume, besides re-configuring the shawl, I had a question about the mask. The one I have pictured is the kit that I have. According to the CRL:
Quote:
Golden-Bronze Female Tusken mask: ( suggested to have some green tint to give it a weathered copper look).
The forehead portion has 3 “jewels”, there’s a wire mesh visor, 4 divots in the nose/cheek area. The“bib” has 9 chinks each with an oval in the center and one long piece at the bottom, 5 bones in the center, a half circle at the end of the bones.

So my kit doesn't have ovals, it has circles, it doesn't have 5 bones, it has 4.
My question is, do I have to toss this and wait until I can buy a kit that conforms to the CRL, or is this something that I can submit?
Thanks for the feedback!

I'm out of town and can only see this on my phone. I'll check out your pics when I get home in the morning. Smile

That would be up to the costume judge. My personal opinion is that it looks fine.

That being said, you need to make the "hood' of your shawl look like it is attached. I understand wanting to have it separate but if you don't find a way to afix it so that it looks like one piece, it will not conform to the standard.

I totally agree with Jada. We can live with the mask, but the fabric needs to be attached. It sticks out from the shawl around the shoulders.

Thanks for your feedback! I am currently re configuring the shawl as per previous (and current) feedback, I just have had some pretty bad life stuff happen so a lot got put back in the box.
