Rushing to get this costume done before Armageddon (The NZ sci fi expo, not 2012) and I think I'm just about there...all I'm really missing is belt tools, which I might cobble together until I can buy some proper ones.

Thoughts?

You might want to switch your buckles for the ESB version.
Other than that, great job.

I wondered who'd be the first to spot that Smile I started out making an ANH version, then changed my mind...I'm pretty sure I can swap the buckles around without to much hassle.

haha, I kept thinking something was looking off but I was too lazy to look at reference photo's to compare. I was like, nah, it can't be the belt buckle, he did a whole thread on the belt build.

Hey Sagan,

You do pull it off really well...kudos on the right haircut and the right look.

All I see is that you might want to pull the sleeves of the shirt under the jacket sleeves...something about the cuff showing seems a bit off. Other than that and the previously-mentioned buckle issue, your outfit looks awesome!!!

Now for the million-dollar question: what color is your jacket really? It almost looks black (as Han's did at times). Is it navy blue? Is it charcoal grey, or is it black?

I'm almost ready to start my ESB Han build, and would be very interested to know the answer. Looks great, keep up the good work.

Hey Brian,

The jacket is actually Navy Blue...that's just not particularly good lighting in those shots Smile

I can't believe I didn't notice the buckles.....LOL.

I agree with the sleeves for the shirt being too long.

This is the root of my question, and goes to show how much lighting and environment can affect the look of things.

Thanks for the response, it will help me in my consideration for my final color choice on the jacket.

Keep your eyes peeled, and your blaster close.

Great looking costume with a perfect "look-a-like" wearer!

Maybe train to sign with "H.Ford" when asked for autographs..... Razz
