Here, once again, you are dealing with a "cosplay" vendor; meaning the product is coming out of China. The pockets look a little out of proportion to me, but it doesn't look too bad. However, you're rolling the dice with these vendors.

I would still recommend Evolution Props. Their vest looks quite accurate, and I have done a lot of business with them. Communication is a little spotty, and turnaround time is about two months, but I have never been dissatisfied with the final product.

Something to consider. I hope this helps.

May the Force be with you,

Brian

They are the exact people I had a problem with on Ebay. Personally I'd say run away, fast, but others have had better success with them. Like CaptSolo says...you're rolling the dice.

I have not had dealings with Cosplayy, but I did order the Han Solo pants from Cosplayskyy. Arrived within two weeks and fit perfectly. Not sure if they are the same people or group, but I had a good experience with them...in the end, it's your money and your decision. good luck!

I love my vest and shirt from Cosplay Sky. The vest is nylon lined as well. The only issue I had was that I needed both the sleeves and vest shortened at a tailor. The sleeves were full length, and the vest hung over my holster a bit. The quality that you get for the money with them is well worth it, and their communications with the customer is good too! See my pictures. Dave

We should have a black list or a use at your own risk list...perhaps that's something the next DCO can work on

We have a list of good sources on the Fringe forums under this thread.

http://www.rebellegion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19539

If an item is not listed in that thread it is not recommended.

I am hesitant to create a 'black list' as we are all adults here and as can be seen by this thread, we are able to police our own selves.

Greetings All,

Just wanted to amend my recommendation of the Evolution Props vest I made earlier. I have started a new thread breaking down in detail three versions of the this vest, and the Evo has some fairly big accuracy issues. Check it out and you'll see what I mean.

I am intrigued by the Cosplay Sky version. If it is actually lined, that would make it somewhat better than most of the other Cosplay versions out there. I'm curious about some other details: Does it have a waistband? How accurate is the pocket size, placement, etc?

You can see detail pics of my Cosplay Sky vest at my site: http://www.starwarsdave.com/Costuming.php . It was originally about 3/4" longer, but had bottom folded up and sewn on the inside by a tailor as it hung too long.
