I'll see if I actually get the stuff and then let everyone know. It was his last set, so in any case he's out for now anyways. This is just my sneaky way of keeping everyone in suspense!

Cool

If this turns out to be a good source they may have more orders than they know what to do with.

Hopefully they turn out good. I'll let everyone know and post pictures\measurements so we can know for sure if they're made properly or not.

On a separate note: where can I get that silver disk that goes on the holster? I think I saw a thread that mentioned Elvistrooper, but I don't see that username here to PM him...

Is that disc something I should pick up if I intend to get an MP holster, or is the provided disc solid and correct with the MP?

Matt from MP contracts from Elvis trooper for the disc, and he uses the correct dics for the correct movie. Very reliable in that manner... well researches info.

If those buckles turn out well, I guess every second Solo build (including me) will want a pair.
Making the holster itself is easy, the buckles are the interesting part.

Crap! Just got an email from Blast Tech; they no longer carry the complete ANH blaster, and are out of stock on most of the upgrade parts. Plus, Unique Canes is out of stock on theirs.

I won't have the cash for a few weeks to purchase a blaster anyways, but I really had my heart set on a full metal blaster.

Anyone want to sell theirs for a reasonable price? They're too heavy to bother with anyways...

Yeah, that seems to be the thing to do. I'll have to setup some searches.

I did see that someone was able to get their hands on a Denix recently, so they are still out there.
amazon has one right now for about $75 + sh&h: http://www.amazon.com/Broomhandle-Mauser-Non-Firing-Replica/dp/B0002S9PCE
but...then you'd have to find all the parts. You mentioned that Blast tech had some, so maybe get what they have and then find the remaining on the bay of e?

I was very fortunate to get my Master Replicas ESB blaster for a very reasonable price from another collecting forum I frequent last year. Still amazed that I have #1980 of the run! But no, I'll keep it. Plus you need an ANH version anyway. Sorry your find fell through.

What about the Greedo Killer being offered up on the RPF? I think I've seen you post over there too.

Yeah, I guess I'll actually have to try that patience thing. I saw the Greedo killer on RPF, and I actually like the regular one better, so for now I'll just keep an eye out for stuff that comes up. The tough part will be not using the cash for something else...
