Who: Rebel Legion Members in Hawai'i
What: Step Out to Fight Diabetes Walk
When: Saturday, March 19th 2011. 7:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Where: Kapiolani Park
Why: To support the American Diabetes Association as they raise money to fight diabetes.
PARKING will be limited. If you plan to go, you may want to arrange a carpool. That can be done in this post string.
Our contact person for this event, LJ Duenas, says we should have access to a secure changing / staging area.
That's THIS Saturday, folks. Sorry for the late notice but I ONLY got this invitation today. From what I understand, the 501st meant to pass along the invitation BUT, somehow, it slipped through the cracks.
If you plan to attend this event, PLEASE post here in this string to say so.
Please remember that this event is the same morning as the Pot Luck / PhotoShoot. [Wow! Two events in one day!]
