I have started my mods and build, thanks to Crimson Phoenix's thread for the help.

I have some questions to ask...Has anyone ever sprayed the visor in a different colour? I was hoping to make the visor the same colour as the one in ROTJ, but is it possible to spray it in the purple/pink colour without primer? will the visor take the paint? what kind of clear colour is best?

yeah, it's from richies Armor. I'm building a Lt. Telsij ( grey 2) from Rotj and I had to modify the helmet to get it as close to screen accurate as possible. the helmet is good quality, pretty good pull but the greeblies are different to the helmet I'm doing.

Awesome, I'm looking forward to seeing your progress. Good to see one for a Y-wing kit.

Looks good so far.
Any chance you might start selling these off when you're finished? Wink

all the filling and sanding done. I can't post photos from flickr or photobucket, can anyone help me out please?
had a bit of trouble fitting the visor but I added a piece of polystyrene to the inside and outside of the rim of the helmet and shaped it to fit the visor, I think it worked out okay.

You need the URL for the photo, like www.host.com/image.jpg. Then you put it between image tags.
Code:
[img]www.host.com/image.jpg[/img]

The helmet is looking good so far, though. Smile
