I recently moved and have been really bored. one of the things i have been needing to do is to figure out a way to come up with a solution for a Flash Hider for my Blaster for my Han outfit. i started to wonder what it would cost for me to have one made up for me. i went to a Vocational school while i was in high school and studied CAD engineering. so i decided to get out dig into the back of my brain and try drawing up the Flash Hider. i did it in Autodesk Inventor. it came out pretty good.

heres a picture of it

one of the other programs they offered was a manufacturing program. in that program they would teach the kids how to machine metal and what not. im kinda wondering if i asked them do to it if i could get it done cheap.

also if anyone likes the drawing enough... ive got the prints with all the dimensions on it and what not. let me know if its worth posting.

I think it's worth a shot, if you can't get the instructor to, perhaps a student. I'm told that the local arts school, the students are sometimes open to doing things like this, it helps them with book (beer) money and gives them some practice. Keeping in contact with people who machine will only help you out Laughing
