Hey guys, thought I'd post my progress page up. My suit is being sewn as we speak and hair has been ordered. I'm going to be starting on the shoes in a week or so, just not sure what method I want to use. I have been chatting with a few people from several places who sell polyurethane. I'm 6 foot 4 inches so I'm looking for maybe an 8" lift. I figured this would be a good way to build my shoes as polyurethane is used to make soles for shoes anyway, why not make the whole lift out of them.. Many of your ideas are really good but I want to make something permanent so I wouldn't have to make fixes later on down the road. I have read almost every thread and really done my homework on this build and want to thank you guys for your hard work and great ideas. I'm looking forward to completing this build in the months to come. Progress pics coming soon.......

Thanks,

The Wookster.

That's because I asked Donna to change my previous account (Bountyone) to something a little more Chewie related. I no longer own my Fett costume so I thought it was time for a name change. Besides, I had to close the old email address I had for the old account for spam, virus and junk purposes.

Ah, ok, good, I don't want to see Sunrider Base lose a future Chewy, already. Razz What I thought was weird though, was that you went from "Wookster" to "THE Wookster".

No more Fett costume, huh? Wow.

Anyway, welcome to the Good Guy's side.
Wink

Thanks my friend, any and all help is very much appreciated. I followed your build on the THD and was very impressed. Sad to see you had to let it go. PM incoming.

Ben,
So this is where you have been hiding out...

I figured if I put up a reply here, I'll continue to see what gets posted. I may have found a tutorial for converting my jaw....I'll let you know how it comes out. I just need to find a good adhesive to affix elastic to the inside latex of the mask.

Thanx,

Jay

Yeah, I'd like to see how that works.

I pick up my mesh suit from the seamstress Friday and will most likely begin the latch hooking Monday. I'm very anxious to get started. I bought a new pair of shoes and have come up with a different Idea on how I'm going to build the lifts which I think you guys will enjoy. Anyway, I'll keep you all posted on new progress as it happens.

Thanks

Hey Ben,

How is the progress? It has been a while since you posted.

I am hoping to get things rolling again soon but the going is slow.
