We will locate the balloon near your table. I'm copying the museums Tom Kuhn
who is also part of the set-up coordinator that we will make plans to have
the balloon near you.

Tom, when you lay out the floor plan, lets keep in mind the extra space the
Star Wars 501 Legion will need to house their balloon. Also, please read the
beginning of this message that Jim sent, that will give you the idea of what
Jim and I have been talking about.

As you say I'd like to keep it safe as well which is why I'd rather have
it near our table in the Hangar much like the little toy airplane the kids
ride. The balloon is inflated via a shop vac. It takes me about fifteen
minutes to inflate and deflate it. Leaving the balloon outside in the sun,
damages the vinyl that is applied to its surface.

Hi Jim
The balloon you speak of, is it one that is blown up with an air blower.
If it is, we can set you up just outside the hangar and out of the way of
any Jet-blast or Helicopter Rotor Wash. We are again looking for the Hospital
Medical Evacuation Helicopter to make their presents and if they need to
depart, we must get them off in just a few minutes. I want to be sure
that anyplace that we put your balloon, it will remain safe.

That's great John. Please make room for the Deathstar its a 10' diameter
balloon. I have a work space to keep it in repair. Please let me know what meeting you'd like us to join in.
Here is some video from the Bartlett 2010 Indepence Day Parade.

Please keep the 501st Legion in mind for this event. If you have room
for it, we may have the DEATHSTAR (a ten foot diameter balloon) available
for display.
