I can't believe that I have not posted this here...
but the annual "4 Mile Death March" is coming up this Saturday...

This is the largest event that Nar Shaddaa Base and the Midwest Garrison do all year...I guess I did not post it here because most of us are already on the MWG boards..but I keep forgetting that there is now a new Wisconsin Garrison and our WI rebels probably don't check in there as often...

At any rate...this year we are featuring a gathering of Outlaw Squadron..I think all of our current X-Wing Pilots and a couple of our future Pilots will be there...so it will be a chance for our Pilots to strut their stuff...
Pilots who are not done with their costume are encouraged to wear what they have completed...this is a non canon event...so don't worry...

Here is some additional information...
and pm me if you need more info..

We are confirmed in Position #3
North Berteau

Staging is at 11am.

As in yeas past I would like EVERONE to have their cars at end of route and back at start at LATEST 12 noon.

Again, as in years past, come to our staging area at start, Drop of costumes only! no tubs, then take your tub and car to end pf parade parking . We will shuttle people back to start and 1 car in parade will have room for your street clothes.

Everyone please bring something.. Food, chips, pop.. whatever.. So we will all have food to eat.

It will be SATURDAY July 3rd.. NOT Sunday the 4th

this will be our 8th consecutive year at this parade and they can't wait to have us back. we have become an important fixture for this event.

every year our participation gets bigger and better. and this year is no different. it is once again open to ALL 501st, rebel legion, jedi assembly, fan force, friends and family.
AND I will, have a small special surprise for those who attend in costume or are support crew.

I'm excited. This will be the first time we'll have the entire squadron together.

Too bad there's about no way I'm going to get my helmet finished in time... but I'll probably bring it anyway.

well, we know kyle wont have his.. I didnt wear mine last year, but andrew did..

with this heat, I wonder if its better to have it on, to block the sun or not have it on to let out the heat...IDK

I am leaning on not wearing mine..but I dont know

Yeah...I have been trying to figure out the same thing...
I guess the reality is that we should all look the same and not wear ours?

I have done the parade in Jedi a couple years with no headcovering...and I have also done the parade in RFT a couple of times with my RFT bucket on...
and..
well..
I do prefer no bucket...

At Cyphan at one point, I had the Pilot helmet on and actually had the goggles all fogged up on that helmet...

Shocked

Well it wasn't so much a deadline to have it for the parade, it was just a deadline I wanted to hit for myself to have it ready so I can move onto the other things I need to get done for CV.

But really since there's not a whole lot I can do until I get my jacket I guess the point is moot anyways.
