Ok so....While I'm not making an Ani AOTC replica costume I am going to be using the same silk noil and color they used for his outer tunic and sash for my upcoming Jedi costume.

So. My question is this. I looked online, I looked at the dvds on my blu ray player which make even normal dvds look better. I cannot tell if his atoc costume had lining in the sleeves such as Obi-Wans or Mace's. Does anyone know. It doesn't look like it from most of even the poised images I've seen, His sleevs never flies up far which would mean the fabric is getting caught on the silk noil in his under tunic. Anyone know for sure?. If I don't have to line this set I won't.

Thanks I'll take a peek there. I know they roll the hem of the sleevs back into it but as for actual lining I'm unsure

there has been debate over on the crazy old wizards and there has been photo graphic proof. I believe Episode I is not lined at all, Episode II is only the sleeves and III is everything.
But, I may have II and III swapped in my memory. Although this is for Obi-Wan, I would imagine Anakin's tunics were made in the same manner.

edit: I couldn't find the thread, I did find a thread that wasn't conclusive about Ep III skirt being lined. So, I think I'm right about Ep II just being the sleeves that were lined.

I'm fairly sure Obi-Wan's sleeves in ep1 are lined. Ya can see when he 's hanging from the reactor. I'll probably line the whole thing. All my old ones are lined. Might as well. Just a question of lining weight

Pretty sure Ep 3 OWK wasn't fully lined on the sheer basis of the exhibit displays where you can clearly see the undertunic through the outer because they didn't dress the mannequin properly.

The fabric was so thin that the undertunic was designed in three parts, torso same color as outer tunic, brown sleeves and brown dickey.

Then line the sleeves and make sure ya dress McGregor JUST right.

*shrug*
