Anyone can organize an event, but all members and regional captains must first run the event by the Base CO & XO for an OK before posting it to our forum. Our charter, as well as LFL, does not allow certain events.
The Endor Base CO is personally responsible for ALL Endor Base events. Once the CO or XO give the OK, they need to be CC'd on all communication with the event requestor.

Create a new topic in Base Events:

1) Title of the thread: Name of Event, City and Date.


2) Info in the body of the thread itself:

Name of event:
Organization:
Date:
Location:
Report Time:
Event Time:
Ending time:
Event website: (if they have one, of course)
Costumes Requested (also formal or informal costumes)
Sign up Procedure (is it first come, first to get in? Do all costumes have to be reviewed by the event requester first before officially approved?)
Minimum/maximum number of costumes?
Parking:
Secure changing area?
Weapons? (sometimes the requestor okays lightsabers but not blasters....etc)
Donation to Charity?
RSVP by date: (last date to sign up)
Comments? (This is where the requestor may have some info that makes or breaks it for our members....like George will be there, or they have cake)
Joint Event with the 501st?

3) Copy and paste the event post with a link back to the forum into the Yahoo Group.

4) Keep the 501st in the loop. If it is a joint request with the local 501st Garrison, the appropriate personnel may need to be contacted as well. In the CCG contact the CO and the XO, for the GGG contact Ed Palmero for regular events, Marcus Wessel for birthday parties, and Ed Palmero AND Ed DaSilva for high profile events. Remember that the CCG does NOT do birthday parties. Contact the Endor Base CO or XO with any questions.
