Wasn't sure if anyone has purchased this one.

I just got mine in today and everything seems good but I cannot get it to do the clash sound. Not sure if it would be due to damage in shipping or an incorrectly programmed sound card. I'm in the process of sending it back and getting a replacement but wanted to see if anyone else had this problem.

thanks

Question about that removable blade saber, does it have screws or something to hold the blade in the hilt, like the converted sabers do?

how hard did you whack it? I need to basically slam my couch at full speed to get the clash sound. But an actual duel with another saber produces it regularly.

it has a screw that holds it into place. its hidden as one of the knobs on the saber.

I was hitting it fairly well mostly how they were doing on you tube to get the sound by hitting the base into my palm. Then I tried on couch too. That one I sent back the second I've been able to product the clash sound and haven't had to hit it nearly as hard. Tested against vader at my first troop and new saber produced nice clash Smile also hit my leg on accident and worked there too Sad lol So I think it was a bad saber also this one has all lights lit properly were as other had two dark spots along blade. I am trying not to hit too much as I dont know what would damage the blade w the led being inside that and not in hilt.

The LED's are on a long plastic frame down the blade. There is a weak point where the frame turns in at each LED. This leads to the LED becoming disconnected if struck hard enough on these points. I will post a pic of it in a few, I need to find the old innards of mine.

You can see the LED string here.
