Maybe you'll inspire others to do that costume, too.

Should be easy for anyone with an X-Wing pilot costume. Wink

Someone should vacuumform a bunch of those vintage ice cream makers for a light weight prop.

I hope you took the motor out of yours to make it lighter.
Razz

Yes, I took the motor out and put back the case together. The inner container is aluminium and light enough to carry around.

Well, there went my cool idea.

I've been working on this since Christmas.

The only way to make it really work is to gut out the inner mechanics of the maker and paint it white. I'll have mine at CV. Not to worry.

As soon as I get my X Wing costume, I'm good, got all the other items ready to go.

I was gonna paint myself up in blackface and wear an afro to do this costume as well. Shocked

Friends talked me out of it as that might be seen as being in bad taste.

Good to see someone finally do this after about 5 years of talking about doing it.

Mr. Bojangles,

I am proud to have been the one to approve your costume!

I have a lot of love for the ICMG; I really like obscure OT characters, plus I was a plainly-costumed Cloud City extra myself in 1996 (green screen footage for the OT Special Edition).

And Lori had a great idea- making vacuformed prop versions of the ice cream maker. I may actually take up this project- just need to find the correct ice cream maker to start with...

That will be cool, Mark.

I found another ice cream maker. This one seems to be the correct version.
I'll post some pics soon.

Haha! Pictures can be found toward the end of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi!

Actually, we weren't allowed to have cameras! There was a still photographer there that day; I keep hoping one day LFL will publish/release pics of that green-screen shoot, but it hasn't happened yet.

I just picked up a couple myself that I think are the correct version- I'd love to compare notes!

I was planning on posting a thread about the prop as soon as I finish modding it (paint, etc.). I'd love to have input from you about yours before I do.
