Granted, no day is perfect for everyone, but I'd like to get a feel for when most people are available. If you have a conflict with a particular date, please post. Also, the date of the meeting may end up having to go to whenever someone is willing to host, so if you are willing to host, please post that as well. Smile

I figure most people won't want to meet after the Fiesta Bowl Parade, but I kept it as an option because it would make one less trip for Tucson peeps. My general inclination is to meet January 9th so we can get started on Phoenix Comic Con planning. Smile The AZ Mando Mercs are having a meeting on the 16th, so I'd rather not schedule a conflicting meeting.

So, thoughts?

Joel has rehearsals for his show until one on Saturdays. So it probably doesn't matter which Saturday as long as it is after 2PM or so.

Unfortunately, we don't have room in our house to host. I don't know whether Joel will have access to the shop. I'd prefer not to meet there this time though. It can be SO cold.

I think I lean toward the ninth as well.

I think any Saturday is good for me at this time , but I may be going to a business conference in San Diego sometime in January, but I am not sure when. I will work around whatever date we have it.

I could do the 9th. The Mercs are having a meeting on the 16th as you pointed out on the thread you posted.. So any date other than that, and yeah the 2nd isnt going to work either.

So event the weekend after the 16th maybe?

Okay, Brenda has agreed to wear a sweater and attend the meeting if we have it at the shop Wink

The shop seems to be the most centrally located for most people. As Brenda said we would have to start later than normal (2PM-ish) due to my rehearsal schedule.

We can also fit a lot more people comfortably into the shop as well as use the cutting tables, etc.

So far the 9th seems to work the best for people but lets give it a few more days.

No matter what Saturday we go with, we can't get into the shop 'till 2PM.

I vote on the 9th as well since I'll be attending the mercs meeting on the 16th along with a motorcycle training course that weekend.

We are welcome to have the meeting here but it could be cramped. I vote to have it wherever there is heat...Joel I love your workshop but it was rather cold this last time! Too cold for me to personally be motivated to work on anything.

Our house is open to the RL (as long as we get forward notice). I'd be more than happy to have a meeting at the house, you all are familiar with the layout, it's not completely open but it is heated. Otherwise, I can try to get the outside fireplace running for folks, maybe have the grill running while we do it? I'll be happy to work out the logistics if everyone wants it at the house, though.

No preference on the weekend.

I work every single saturday after the Fiesta Bowl Parade and I don't get off till 3:30 every saturday that I'm scheduled. So... I don't care when the meeting is of course but I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it myself.

It just depends on the location and the time. But I will keep checking back and let you guys know. Smile
