I will make sure the Remaker paints those welds....
There is only one spot weld at the top of each shoulder so the welds do not interfere at all with the pipe going back through my body.

And....
I do push around quite well....
but better in reverse though....

There is still a lot of movement going on but perhaps that is a good thing rather than having things a bit too rigid...

rigid = snap

I think that slow movement with hands strategically placed at the top of the shoulders is the best plan. Due to my un-orthodox construction - I think that certain realities need to be applied....

Very Happy

but thats up you and your remaker...

if you like, I am willing to give it one more shot...

it can all be remove if you dont like it...

its up to you guys..let me know...

with all the stuff your remaker is doing for me, I just want to help any way I can.

The Remaker did paint the welds yesterday...so that part is done.

I do think that the Remaker is expecting you - if you are not too busy on Saturday...

You can push me around and see what you think with regard to my stability....

and

the Remaker does want you to put on your Jedi costume so she can pin it for hemming and I think is rather stressed that the costume might be a little too large.

Also, I think that the Remaker is ready to have photos taken of her Pilot to submit for approval. I know that she has tried the self timer function of her camera but it did not work out so well because the camera has auto focus and has nothing to focus on but a blank wall at the start of the process.

Savior...
the Remaker finished hemming your Jedi tunic and I was going to deliver it to you...
I was on my way out the door with the bag....

but the Remaker stopped me and said that the climate outside was pretty harsh and that I would be malfunctioning before I even made it out of Mokena...
after sticking my dome out the front door....my sensors indicate that the Remaker's assesment was probably accurate...

I did manage to snap a few holo images before the tunic set went into the bag...

It was also good to see some sentients yesterday...

besides you Savior...
I believe Jim was there....I met him in November....however I was in pieces most of the time...
and Steve was there too...
I was in even more pieces the last time I saw Steve...

The Remaker has moved me out of the living room and into new quarters in the Star Wars room.

She has decided to move me out of direct sunlight as the sun's rays do have a negative effect on some white plastics. Since the formula of my coverings is unknown, she felt it best to put me in an area without direct sun....just in case.

I keep trying to strike up a conversation with the Stormtrooper that resides in here with me...
he sure does not say much...

Schph's R2, looks like a fun room! I'm glad your Maker is worried about your well being, she's a good human.

I've been given another job. Even though the event is over, I am still "holding" onto a strange metallic floating object with a message written on it. It was intended for my Maker's birth day celebration. She enjoys looking at it, so I continue to proudly hold onto it for her. Surprisingly, her offspring haven't tried to steal it from me.

Well....I wish your Maker a VERY HAPPY Birth Year!
I know sentients do celebrate this...
well...
except for the Remaker...
she absolutely HATES to be another year older as she is already fairly ancient.

I do like your shiny and floaty object....
a little bling is always nice.

Schph's R2, my Maker thanks your Re-maker for the kind wishes on her birth day celebration. She's excited to have some sort of "belated birth-day" gifts arrive in the mail, though they are really for me. I am SO close to being able to move my dome finally! All that my Maker needs to accomplish it now is a bearing she calls "lazy susan". I'm not sure whom Susan is, but I wish she wasn't so lazy, because I really could use some help turning my head!

Again...
I can see vast differences in your construction vs mine....
your construction is more cutting edge than mine....

I am still awaiting my first assigment....
the Remaker has been doing a lot of prairie restoration workdays and not getting out to SW functions...

I have had a chat with her...and where I admire her dedication to restoration of natural areas in Will County...I also want to get out and meet and greet...

The Remaker is going to a parade next month, but I won't be able to be in that....I hope I don't have to wait all the way to April for the Joliet Library gig...but that may end up happening.

The Remaker is having several people over in the upcoming weeks for various workshops...so at least there will be some other sentients coming through the house for me to chat with.

Finally....visitors!

They must have thought I needed protecting....some pretty serious blasters there.

I got a chance to be a part of the activities yesterday because before the sewing sentients arrived the Remaker was once again struggling with my voice. It was her intent to make sure that I could talk to all of the sentients next month at the Joliet Library...but sad to say...the effort was for nothing. Even the new MP3 player simply didn't seem to want to play my voice. I guess it is back to the drawing board for the Remaker.

The Remaker does excel in making more work for herself. When she attached my battery boxes she tried a different method on each side to see what would hold up best. When moving me back to my room without a view..
she managed to dislodge the battery box on the right leg...
well...
clearly THAT attachment method didn't work too well..

Where I think we can all agree that my counterpart C-3PO is indeed a mindless philosopher...
one thing that I think he did get right was that as droids it is our lot in life to suffer.

I am again in pieces as the remaker addresses yet more of my apparent shortcomings...
the attachment of my battery boxes.

Again she starts from scratch in their attachment ...
velcro combined with toggle bolts going through the bottom of my feet and into the hollow of the battery box.

The Savior asked about my new carraige bolt stabilization project that he so patiently worked on.

I do get around pretty good on smooth floors but have trouble on the not so smooth...but this is not new...I had difficulty before when in the two leg configuration.

The Remaker did find that I seem to be putting some stress on the one carriage bolt though...
no...
I didn't bend it with my will...

But, in as much as she was able to remove the bolt without too much difficulty to remove my legs....I don't think the Remaker is stressing about it too much at this time. She keeps saying that my first big test is coming up - something about a mission in a spaceport named "Joliet"....will have to consult my navigational charts for that one.

The remaker is also still fiddling around with my voice.
She returned the MP3 Player she just bought...I believe she called it a piece of sh*t....I could not find that term in my limited stores of forms of communication. Unlike the mindless philosopher, I am not as fluent in linguistics.

At any rate, I did hear my own voice coming from the computer that the Remaker uses as she went through all of my beeps, whistles and other audible sounds. Seems like some of the sound bits she had were corrupted and she is painstakingly going through over a hundred sound bites.

She also gave up on cheapo MP3 Players.....with 2 tried unsucessfully, she has opted for ordering a iPod "shuffle" from Wal Mart. She was complaining that, as always, the one she wanted was not in stock and had to be ordered and "shipped to store" for free shipping. It is not due to arrive until next week and she is hoping it arrives in time for that Joliet Galaxy thing.

I am sorry hear about your troubles R2..

I bet with carriage bolts, if we just flip over those brackets.(which I should of done to begin with. Embarassed sorry buddy..)
so the part that sticks out is closer to the pipe..it would lessen that strain on the bolts.

Fear not Savior...
We will see how things go in the Joliet galaxy and evaluate after that...

I am getting tired of hearing my own voice today as the Remaker goes through all of those sound bites...
there are actually several hundred...
