lol...
Just for you Bob....

As the only person who gets excited about this costume...
I give you Hoth....
finished...

Let me preface this series of photos by saying...
I took the photos with the self timer as I live alone so they are not very good...
also since I live alone...I could not see in the back to see if the pack was hanging straight...
which it isn't...
although...I do have one leg shorter than the other so it always looks like I am crooked...

if I do an event with the pack at least I will have someone handy to adjust it for me...the bottom box came out of align...

Embarassed

and a side of myself I never like to see...
Shocked

If you wanna get suited up, we can get good pictures of you on Sunday. Might as well if you've got the extra hands available.

Wow.... makes me think I am going the wrong route in my costume choices. Being in the Winter states these are great costumes, and a must if you want to do a winter event. I may start looking into something more suited for winter beside my walking carpet.

Really awesome work.... *Speachless*

Personally....
I would LOVE to see you make this costume...
and I know that you and Beret would knock it out of the park...
I did a reasonable job with my limited skills...

I can only imagine what level you and Beret could take it to...

But, as with all my other costumes....
there is no wow factor with it..
it draws yawns...
or someone gives me the camera to take the photo of them with the real costumed people....lol..

I have not worn it since Dragon Con 2008..
and the only reason I am wearing it to the Star Wars In Concert is because it is one time that we will have one of each of the fighting Rebel costumes if I wear it..
we will have
RFT
ERS
HRS
and
X-Wing for the 6:00 PM performance..

I always have this problem too...Jedi, Beru, even Padme. I thought once I completed a Padme costume, people would be wowed by it, but the general public doesn't recognize it unless it's the white "Leia Buns" Leia, Luke, or Vader. True fans on the other hand love the more obscure. I had one kid who actually knew I was Beru. It was a shinning moment for me! Laughing

The problem you've got there is the only Padme the general public remember is the bright red Kabuki outfit from Episode 1.
